Mila Wheeler
CEO
Mila Wheeler, the CEO of AbSouLute Beauty, began braiding at eleven years old, trading hairstyles for earrings with her schoolmates. After apprenticing under a seasoned braider, she turned her craft into a business at fourteen. When she became pregnant at fifteen, hair became her sole means of income to support her son. Now with over fourteen years of professional experience, Mila has built AbSouLute Beauty on the belief that doing hair is a sacred ritual—one that shapes memories in and outside the chair. Her mission extends beyond individual clients to uplift aspiring beauty professionals and support grassroots organizations with freelance administrative services. Her motto guides everything she does: Beauty is all around you.
